Son : “I will choose my own bride!”
Father : “But the girl is Bill Gates’s daughter.”
Son : “Well, in that case… ok”
Next – Father approaches Bill Gates.
Father : “I have a husband for your daughter.”
Bill Gates : “But my daughter is too young to marry!”
Father : “But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.”
Bill Gates : “Ah, in that case… ok”
Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Father : “I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president. “
President : “But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!”
Father : “But this young man is Bill Gates’s son-in-law.”
President : “Ah, in that case… ok”

New Microsoft Ad
Apologies to my future self. Looks like this page won’t be a good resource to find out about this point of my life. There’s so much going on, and I still don’t know how I’d write something while being completely fair and without bias. But my technical communication lecturer says “no writing is unbiased; everything has a purpose”. This I believe to be true.
Fortunately (and despite the bleak introduction to this entry), there are still some things that make me smile and laugh a little; this new Microsoft new ad is one of them. I know and admire Bill Gates for his intellect, but apparently he has a good sense of humor as well. Here it is. =)
